Welcome to Mitcel!

You have probably come to this site because you are keen to take control of your wellness - to be proactive. You may have come here to learn more about how you can achieve and maintain optimal health and wellness.

Most of us believe we are healthy. But health is what we see and feel. It does not describe the condition of our body. How many times have you heard of someone who was fit and healthy, full of vitality, yet who has a sudden heart attack. This person would have considered themselves healthy moments prior to the heart attack, yet their heart and arteries were obviously far from healthy. Or what about the person who feels healthy and yet on a routine visit to their doctor for a check-up, finds they have cancer.

It is important to make this distinction between feeling healthy and having wellness. We have wellness when our body is functioning optimally and is able to heal, repair, regulate and maintain itself in a timely fashion.

In the current day and age it is almost impossible to achieve wellness from our normal diet. This is because agricultural systems have undergone huge changes, our environment is polluted with more and more chemical toxins, and we tend to live our lives with relatively high levels of underlying stress.

National medical associations in a number of Western countries now acknowledge that we can no longer, obtain the necessary ingredients for wellness from our food. We need dietary supplements! They are no longer optional - they are necessary.

We need to supplement our diets with the missing ingredients. It is important to make sure that the dietary supplements we choose are of highest quality and are standardised. They need to be in a form that our body will recognise as food and so incorporate it into its cells and systems. Dietary supplements need to be balanced.

Our bodies are recreating themselves constantly, we make a skeleton every 3 months, new skin every month.
